I recently stayed at a lovely guesthouse in Elgin for a few nights. The room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed and a hot shower in the en-suite bathroom. The hospitality tray was a nice touch, and the location was convenient, within walking distance of the town center and attractions like the cathedral ruins and the museum. The owner was friendly and helpful, providing great dining recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious and had a variety of options, including a vegetarian choice. The period building was beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, with lots of charm. I would not hesitate to book again and have already recommended it to a friend.
Can recommend this hotel.

The Pines Guesthouse had a lovely and charming atmosphere, with its beautiful old house and grand staircase. The period furniture added to the overall charm and made it feel like a cozy retreat. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people, with easy access to the wider Moray area and its charming attractions. The grounds had a wonderful feel to them, creating a peaceful and relaxing environment.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the staff. The children working there could have been more attentive and helpful, especially in providing information and assistance to senior guests.

The beds were absolutely amazing, giving us the best night's sleep ever! The bathroom was pristine and spacious, a refreshing change from other places we've stayed. It was awesome to have a second chair in the room for TV watching. The period building was stunningly renovated and beautifully decorated. The breakfast spread blew our minds with its variety, including a delicious vegetarian option. The check-in process was efficient and the room was large and well-prepared. Despite being next to a main road, the noise was not an issue. The location was conveniently situated near a vibrant city with endless opportunities for exploration. The cooked breakfast was superbly cooked and the breakfast room offered plenty of space with a lovely view of the garden. We had a truly memorable and enjoyable stay. Thank you for your incredible hospitality.

The decoration of this lovely guesthouse takes you back in time with its beautiful period furniture and grand staircase. It truly gives you a sense of the rich history of the region. The elegant and cozy ambiance made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax and socialize. Additionally, the easy access throughout the hotel made it convenient for seniors like me to move around without any hassle.
The only thing I would have preferred is if the children working there were a bit more attentive and accommodating to the needs of senior guests. Just a little more assistance and consideration would have made the vacation even more enjoyable.

Traveled with my elderly mother for a short stay at The Pines. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the generous amount of milk provided for our tea and coffee. The room was beautifully decorated and the shower was great. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including alternatives to the full Scottish breakfast. Conveniently located within walking distance of Elgin Cathedral.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a truly luxurious and delightful stay at a lovely guesthouse in Elgin. The room I stayed in was absolutely amazing, with a four poster bed that was so comfortable and stylishly decorated. The ensuite bathroom was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed. I also loved the fact that the breakfast was cooked to order and was absolutely sumptuous. The attention to detail was impeccable. One thing that really impressed me was the fact that they had a safe and secure parking area for my motorcycle, away from the main road. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and I will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone looking for a luxurious and happy holiday experience.

Quaint grounds, impressive Victorian mansion, perfect for getting lost, and conveniently close to golf, castles, and whisky distilleries. The hosts' attention to detail is impeccable.
A masterclass in anonymity, broken slats for extra discomfort, and a breakfast experience worthy of a relay race.
